WHAT HOME MEANS TO ME

Home means family and kindness. Home is laughing at the dinner table. Home looks like playing with my parents or my siblings. Home means family. I have four siblings and my mom and dad. When I see a picture of my family I smile. It reminds me of love. My parents say they love me so much. When I come back home I feel awesome and feel safe. A very nice place in my house is my couch. I use a blanket that is cozy. Sometimes I even fall asleep. My home is amazing. But home is not walls, tables, phones or tablets, it's feelings. When I play outside and come in I feel warm and cozy and also feel welcome. A specific memory I like is when my dad makes jokes. I like to play jokes, too. One time my brother and I played a joke on my sister. We tied her shoelaces together and when she put them on and moved around, she fell. She saw us and laughed. Another important home memory is when my parents or siblings help me learn new things and understand different stuff. I feel sad for the people who don’t have homes. They work their hardest and still don’t get paid enough money to buy a house. I think Habitat for Humanity is very important because they care about people and I want to help them by writing.
