A Safe Place to Be

To me, home is a place to be safe and to have fun. I live in two houses and almost every Friday I switch for either my mom’s house or my dad’s house. Having to go back and forth can be both exciting and stressful, but it’s still really good to have a safe place to stay. Home means a safe place to live, somewhere that gives you that feeling of joy or happiness. It’s that feeling you get when you get to go home after a long day of work or school. When I get home after school it feels so relaxing and I just chill for a bit and play some games with my friends. Even if I have left over homework or even more homework it’s still amazing to be home. One of the favorite things I have at home is a huge blanket. It’s so big that it's the size of my bed. My bed is a two person bed and really big and it can go over all of it! It can go over the pillows too! It’s my favorite because it’s a gift from my brother and I don't get to see him often, so it’s really special to me. Everyone deserves a safe place to live.
