Home

What is home? Home for me is… where I share the love below my feet and where I can run around, laugh and play. Home is the smell of my sister Livia’s famous chocolate chip peanut butter cookies. It’s where I wrestle with my little sister Evie. Home is where my sister’s scare me around the corner, and I scream and run away. Home is not just love-it is where you make memories on the wall. Most importantly it is where my family feels the comfort of a Max sandwich and my family wraps their arms around me. Home is more than you might think it is. Home is where you feel safe and as a warm as a quilt. It is a space of love and laughter. It is where I do big baseball games with my neighbors on my street. It is where I watch my favourite TV show Full House. Home is like a roller coaster when I play laser tag with my family. I run up the stairs, down the stairs, up the stairs, down the stairs. I love my home and there is nothing I would change about it. I love the memories in it and the people in it. Those who don’t have a home, I hope you get one from Habitat for Humanity. By Max
