What is home?

What is home? Home is a place where you are comfortable and happy. What makes home special for me is when my mom makes special foods and sweets on religious holidays. Also, when my dad brings back exciting and new prizes he won from his workplace like a water bottle, a really cool charger and once, he even got a backpack! My home feels great and I can do so many cool activities! I can draw with my brother, talk to my friends, have a playdate with my friends, play in the backyard, cook new recipes with my parents, and watch videos or play games on my iPad. I have a very comfortable and cozy home where I feel safe and happy. I celebrate Eid, and Ramadan. When we fast, we can’t drink water or even eat food between sunrise and sunset. We wear traditional clothing and we go to the Mosque, where we pray. So home is also a place where my family and I can build our culture. What I love about my home is that my family loves me so much. Home is where love resides.
