What Home Means To Me

For me, home means love, family and comfort. My house keeps me safe and warm. My mom and dad make me feel accepted and loved. If there is a storm outside, the lights go out and I have to go to bed, I pray for the people who don’t have a house and say “God keep the people and kids safe”. In the morning when I wake up and hear the birds singing, I know the storm is over. I am so happy that my family paid for such a sweet house because it protects me overnight. A couple months ago I had to move. I did not like that at first because ice got in by the window and we had to do renovations and all that stuff. But it’s at least warm and protects me. I like how my brother makes my home complete. Without him I would be lonely………… that’s why I love him ❤️. I like the magnificent, Spectacular, incredible………………… LIVING ROOM! It’s the main room in the whole house and that’s why I like it so much! It is a place to gather. I love my home! Habitat for humanity is helping a lot of people get a nice, safe and warm house, which I think is amazing!
