What Home Means To Me

Home is a place where I am safe. Everybody loves me and is kind to me. If I get hurt, somebody helps me. At home I am fed and I can have fun. At home people listen to me, especially when I am hurt or need help. I can do most of the things I want to do, and if I can’t do something I want to do, I can find another thing to do. I can have a good night’s sleep, I have things to play with, and I can visit my family. I can get money from doing things like chores, or getting it from a birthday card. Then I can use my money to buy what I want [As long as my parents say yes to it]. I can be happy and when I am angry or sad someone helps me. There is love in the air and people are kind to each other [usually]. There’s toys to play with and stuff like books, puzzles, balls, and sports. Home can bring happiness, gratitude, and other happy feelings. Me and other people feel very grateful to have a roof over our heads. Everybody in the world is grateful to have a home, whatever they call it.
