Home is family

A home is more than just a house, a structure with walls, windows and a roof. It’s so much more than that. A home is made of the people who live in it. My family- my mother and father, my brothers and sisters. The people who care about me the most in the world. I know that no matter what the situation is, if I’m in need, they will come to my aid. After moving to Canada, I learned that although I love my friends very dearly, my family will always come first. I left behind many friends, and moved to a foreign country where I didn’t know anyone. I thought it would be very difficult, but thanks to my family, it wasn’t so bad. I discovered that my family is all I need. Friends may come and go, but family is forever. Even though I am living in a new country, I can still call it home. Because home is where my family is. I’ve realized that if I have nothing but my family, I have everything I need in the world. Home is not just the place you sleep and eat, it’s safe because my home is my family. I am so grateful for the family I have.
