What Is The Meaning Of Home To Me? by Violet Moeller The word home is not a place people eat, nor the place people sleep. Home is a place that people feel safe and the place people enjoy being in. I’d like to start off with the fact that I love my house just as much as I love my home but I know that not all people feel the same. I feel very lucky and fortunate that I live in a place where there is no war, where my life at home is not a bad place to grow up in and that I feel safe in. My home is a special place to me not only because it is a shelter for me in storms but also the place that I feel the most comfortable, safe and even bored. My home is not just bricks and walls that might be my house but not my home. My home is the place that holds wonderful memories and they will always be there for me. I remember the day I met my baby sister Clementine. I think that was one of my favorite memories in my home. Sometimes we have family movie nights. I hope more will come, but those are also some of my favorite memories. I do wish that all families could experience these fun and amusing memories that I experienced and memories that I remember. I always wonder what life would be like if I didn't have these amazing and beautiful people to help me, love me and simply be there for me. I have so many people that are there for me and that is one part of home to me. The feeling of having someone there for me whenever I need it means alot. I wish everyone could experience that love and care that I have. For me, not only home is the place I live in, it is the place that holds memories, love and family.
