My Home Is Different From a House

A home is different from a house. A house is just four walls, but a home is somewhere you can be yourself without being judged. It is a place where when you try your best you are not told you could’ve done better. In my home, five people are working together and helping each other all the time. We are always supporting each other and cheering on one another. Home is where you feel safe, whether you are around the table with your family or snuggled up in bed. No matter where you sleep at night, if you are with your family, it is a home. When I walk in the door of my home my dog is always there to greet me. Even when I am home alone if I want to sit with someone I can always go to my dog. Reading my book and drinking hot chocolate by the fire place is one of the best feelings ever.
