Calling Me Home
Calling me Home
By Dawn R
Home is a safe place, a great place for being yourself. Home is warming. We need a home everyone does even if they feel like they do not. Home is amazing even if sometimes it feels terrible your family will always love you no matter how big or how little you are. But if you only care about the house as the walls creak and crack like old people's backs. you may just forget memories. Because in these walls we hold these memories like that one stain on the wall from a drink that got everywhere. And the memory like you found your favorite stuffed animal that you have on your bed every night under there.
Home is wonderful isn't it always though. Home may be dumb, stupid or makes you angry sometimes.
Siblings and parents are always fun in a home even though they can make you mad sometimes you can always love them and trust them with certain things. Things like little secrets even though their family you can't trust them with everything but the little things you may be able to trust the most. Rather big things you may feel like you want to keep them to yourself and that's okay.
Home and House are two different things can't you see?
Although you may or may not have all the space you want in your home all the time your parents and siblings try their best to respect your feelings even if they don't. Sometimes it feels like they're treating you terribly. A family is most needed especially when you're a child. It doesn't matter if you only have a mom or only a dad or mom and dad or mom and mom or dad and dad everyone has a different family.
