What Home Means To Me

A house is four walls and a roof, it's where other people live and keep their stuff.But, my home is where I live, and a place where I make new memories with my family.When I think of home, I think of the taste of my mom's delicious, fluffy pancakes with a drizzle of maple syrup and a sprinkle of powdered sugar on the top.When I smell my mom’s fresh flowers and plants, it smells like home.When I hear my brother’s clicking while playing video games with his friends, I know I’m at home.When I see my cozy and comfortable bedroom ,It makes me feel like I'm at home.When I feel my soft pink blanket, I’m at home.And when I feel my cute adorable karoumi plushie on my bedI’m also at home. When I am home I feel love from my family like it’s in the air.I feel safe In my home,like no one is trying to hurt me or do anything bad.My family is very trusting and honest with me,they are also kind and nice too.I feel good in my home because of them. It’s clear that I love my home,that’s why we need Habitat for Humanity to build more homes for people in need of them.
