What Home Is
Home is where you feel happy, safe, cozy, calm and loved. Sometimes feelings go wild but when you think of home, you’ll be calm again. A house has a roof and walls, but the families inside make it a home.
Home is where my favourite things are, like stuffies, books and family. Also the things that you or I like. Home is where you could smell the yummy food or your favourite food that your mom or dad made in the kitchen and where you can be closer with your family.
Home is where I could think about my old friends before I moved. Home is where you share the stories about what happened to your ancestors, like my grandpa used to make stuff like toy trains with wood for my dad. Home is where you think about memories.
Home is a place where your family always cheers for you, a place where you could do what you want to do. Home is a place where you can feel calm when you get angry or upset and someone like a mom, dad or a guardian can help you. It’s where you can feel proud of yourself. You’re special for what you are and for what you do. Home is where you could just be yourself and be true. Home is just special. That’s what home is.
