Sparky's Home

Once upon a time, there was a turtle named Sparky! He lived in a forest beside the beach in an oversized seashell with his family. One day, he decided to look for food around the neighbourhood. Sparky went to the beach and looked around. He looked under benches and small seashells. Sparky couldn't find anything. Next, he went to the swamp. Sparky looked in the water and the mossy trees, but still nothing. He went back to his home to ask his mom where he could find food but then he realized……his home was gone. He started to head to the river where Sparky's friend lived. “Hi beaver!” said sparky,” Do you know where home is?’ “Oh!” said Beaver. “I know where home is! Follow me!” Beaver walked over to his dam and said, “Here! Here is home!” “No!” said Sparky. “That's not a home! That's a house!” “Oh!” said Beaver. Then Sparky waddled away. He headed to his other friend's house. “Hi Fox!” said Sparky. “Do you know where home is?” “ Oh!” said Fox. “I know where home is!” Fox trotted to his den.” Here!” said Fox. “Here is home!” “ No!” said Sparky. “That's not home, that's a house!” “Oh!” said Fox. Then Sparky waddled away. Sparky walked and walked until he decided to go to the swamp. Sparky sat down and thought. “Maybe I can just sit and wait until my home comes back?” “No,” said Sparky. “ Maybe I can call for my home to come back?” “No,” said Sparky. “ Oh! I know! I can-” He heard a splash. Sparky looked up, down, left, right, nothing. He turned to look back at the swamp, and saw an alligator standing right in front of him! “AHH!” yelled Sparky. “I heard you lost your home.” said the alligator.” Go to the beach! My friend will help you out!” “Ok!” said Sparky. He waddled to the beach. When he got there, he looked around. Sparky noticed a white bird in the distance, sitting on a bench. He walked a little closer and noticed it was a seagull! " Are you alligator's friend?” said Sparky. “Indeed I am! How can I help you?” said the seagull. “Do you know where home is?” said Sparky. ‘Home can be different for many people. It can be big, small, or medium. They can be full of laughter, love, and memories. They can even be safe and warm!” Said Seagull.”Oh! Ok! I get it now! Is there any way you can help me?” Said Sparky. Seagull replied with a smile. ‘ ‘ I would suggest looking around the forest.’ ‘ Sparky smiled and waddled away. He walked back to the forest, where it all started. In a far distance, he saw it. Sparky found his home! He ran to his shell and looked inside. Then he realized all his family and friends were there! He squeezed everybody tightly. ‘ ‘ I missed all of you!’ ‘ Said Sparky.
