The Meaning of Home

Home means love, the indescribable feeling of safety, an enveloping reassurance that you would be taken care of. A comfort that brings you to a wide grin from only hearing giggling and silly retorts whilst playing on game nights with your family. Arms wrapped around you during a tiny snooze, and goofy whispering from both sides of you. Being smothered with such affection during breakfast hours as everyone takes their time composing themselves from only arising a couple of minutes ago. Settling down in the rather large family vehicle whilst heading towards the education center and back to the dusty garage filled with your father’s tools. Assisting in preparing a delicious meal in the late evening for the entire family to savor. Finishing your bathing as your siblings impatiently wait on the opposite side of the door and banter back-and-forth. And lastly, lying in bed as your parents tuck you and your siblings in with a goodnight peck on the forehead and closing the white wooden door to your abode.
