What Home Means to Me
Home is the place where my family hugs where we can cry and laugh and be scared together, the place where the sun waves hello and the floor gives a happy glow as the trees whistle in the wind. Where my siblings and I play but not every day where we can appreciate each other's silence. How me and my sister share a room even when I say I want my own space and even though I’m still mad I know that she is happy with me being there and I feel the same. Where my brother was my best friend though he has his own space and even though I complain saying that it should be mine he always lets me in to play talk and share secrets with each other. Where My Mom would give me hugs and help me out and we would talk about all sorts of things clothes or old family. Where my Dad would say I love you even when I yell and be so disrespectful when he says “I’m right here I got you” During my panic attacks when he says it’s okay when I cry and cry. Home is that place where I can be myself and where my family embraces me and loves me forever. All these memories are woven into the fabric of my heart. Home is my Family.
