Home, The Best Place Ever!

A home is so much more than a roof over my head, or a place for my things or a house that I live in. For me, home is a place where I feel safe. Home is where I am cozy. Home is where I laugh. Home is where I make memories and home is where I keep my memories. Home is where I sleep. Home is a place where I eat meals with my family. Home is when I feel loved and when I'm warm. Home is a place where I have fun. Home is where I bake and flour is flying everywhere and there is that yummy scent of baking waiting for the oven to beep. Home is where I watch movies. Home is where we are all snuggled together. Home is where I was born. Home is where I learned how to tie my shoes and read my first book. Home is where I get lots of hugs. Home is a place where I can show my love for my family, share family traditions and where my birthday is celebrated. Home is a place where I can snuggle with my pets. Home is a place where I can be on the turf by myself and shoot balls into the soccer net. Home is a place where I can go to the park and play on the playground. Home is a place where I can share my feelings with my family. Home is a place where I can sleep and read books with my mom while she listens to me read out loud. Home is a place where I can hang out with my friends. Home is a place where I play board games with my family. Home is spending time with my family and friends out in nature. Home is where I can be myself. Home is a place filled with friends and family, that I love and that love me. Home is where I want to be. A place where I feel safe, where I feel loved, where I am welcomed and where I belong, that is what home is to me.
