The Home that was Shown

In the woods and far away in a city where people would play. There was a girl all alone, sad and scared, and lost her way. Then there was a froggy dressed in green. He was smirking at the girl, the smirk was warm, not cold or gray. Not like the others who would scurry in disgust not with a piece of mind to stay. The little girl started filling with questions about where it would go if it was lost from home. She brought the frog to a house, not a home. Not understanding what was shown. She brought the frog inside to its surprise. There was a room filled with love and warmth. Where a place with everyone is sharing with joy. A place where you can trust one another, a place where you belong. A place where everyone shares and cares for each other for a never-ending chain. The froggy hopped and jogged around looking for something better than rain. But then the froggy stopped and he’d found it. The little girl is beside a person with the writing Habitat for Humanity. Its mind rushed and crashed with what seemed like gratefulness. A home, a house, what could be more? What do we need that's filled with love or more. A house and a home both look the same, it’s what's on the inside that makes it more. All need a haven for you when you come home something new sits and awaits Habitat for Humanity right at your door. Thank you Habitat for Humanity, For making a house a home.
