A house has beams and walls. A home is love and family. On a home day you are with your family. On a stay home day, you get all your favorite meals. But on a stay at home from school day. It is about being with your family. Bedroom-The soft and fuzzy bed sheets. The warmth from mom and dad before bed. The funny stories they tell you. The times when you just need to calm down. kitchen-The smells dance in the air to your nose. All of your favorite cookies and cakes. Mom saying come over here and help me with a tone to her voice. I am learning how to cook with mom and dad. Dancing through the air makes the smells move throughout the house. Sunroom- family tv nights. Games to play lots of them. Making up games when you are bored. singing songs when no one is looking but everyone can hear. Making up dances and then not showing anyone. Backyard-playing games. Having campfires and roasting smores. Or falling off the swing and you run inside. Running around the yard 5 times to complete a dare. Dancing in the rain while dad is telling you to come inside, or you'll get a cold. Hallway- getting pulled down the hall on a blanket by your sister or brother. Plugging your ears because dad is vacuuming. Getting a new blanket because you lost yours. Home is amazing with my family and the love we share.
