What a Home Means to Me
Home. For me, home means love. The love that is shared among families. A home is where you feel safe and feel warmth.
Say you move into a new house. Yes, you feel uncomfortable in between the pressure of a new start, but as you start to feel the warmth and comfort with your family, this random house you have will suddenly turn into your home.
My answer for what a home means to me is kind of connected to me, especially when I had first moved away to a new place I was unfamiliar with. Yes, at first I felt all shy and very, very uncomfortable starting new and with a new start and house, but over time I've learnt to grow into it, and started to feel the warmth and love shared among my family in this house.
Some people may have different experiences with something like this, however this is mine. However our first ever homes tend to hold memorable places in your heart, but it’s better to share it with the people you love, and that’s what makes it yours, or a home.
You see, a home is not just a building with large walls, and a roof, because your home is a safe haven and comfort zone, shared among you and your family that makes it even better! Which makes it a home. And that is what a home means to me.
