The Meaning of Home

A house can mean a lot of different things like bricks or a lamp grass fence couch etc but home is where someone feels special so I am here to tell you about what home means to me. Home is where I can be myself and feel safe and happy. Home is with my friends where I can have fun and not care about anything. When I am with my friends I can talk for hours on end and not get bored or just make a joke and we will laugh for hours on end at home with my friends. Home is with my family where they won’t judge me for being myself with my family. I feel loved and safe at home with my family. Home is at my dance studio so I can dance my problem away. I can make new friends at my dance studio. I can feel the air go through my hair when I am dancing at my dance studio. Home is the rink where I can skate around with no care in the world when my dad sprays me with snow when stopping when falling down and laughing and get back up and skate when I feel the cold air go through my hair. Home is a holiday when it is Christmas time and i am with my family building gingerbread houses and getting new ornaments and getting special pajamas waking up on Christmas and walking down stairs to see what we have gotten. During Easter we will go to our family's place and get Easter baskets and lots of candy, maybe even an egg hunt and see what kind of candy is our favorite and look at the freshly bloomed flowers outside of the window.during birthdays i feel special and at home because everyone is celebrating me and my existence and having a party with your friends just feels like home. This is what home means to me and hope you like this essay.
