Home

Home is a place where I feel safe and comforted, loved and cared for. Full of warmth and care, where family sits around with stories to share. Home is where you are paired with a family for life. I am at home with my sister and mother, but I won’t forget my dad and my brother. Home is where I am with any family. My home is my pillow for when I fall. At home I feel warm and cozy. I can be myself and I’m swarmed with appreciation and trusted advice. At home I feel cheered on to accomplish anything. Home is with my toys as I play, it fills me with joy. Home is where the heart is. Home is where I'll get a head start in life. Home is where I make my favorite desserts for special occasions and just for fun. My home smells of warm chocolate chip cookies and my favorite flowers. Even though my sister can be sour, I still love her every hour. We laugh and play.... not as much as we used to, but that’s okay. Home is where my family is. Even if we move, I will still be fine. School can feel like home too. Where I feel safe with my friends and my teachers.
