The Meaning of Home

What is home? Home can mean many different things, but to me home means love, happiness and a safe place. When I am at home, I see my family, my dog, a fireplace, a bed, and my cozy blanket. I can hear the crackling fireplace and laughter from me and my brother when we play. As I breathe in, I smell our dinner baking in the oven. It smells delicious! On a cold rainy day, I can taste the hot cocoa settle in my mouth while I am cuddled up to my dog with my warm cozy blanket watching a movie. On a sunny day I like to go outside and throw a ball for my puppy or go on my trampoline. One of my favorite things to do is sit by the vents in our living room when the heat comes on. Home is a place to make memories. Yes there will be some bad memories, but I am sure that there will be great ones too. I hope that someday everybody will have a home because some people may make bad choices and be living on the streets but no matter what they still deserve a home.
