What is the meaning of home to me and my family? Returning from Travel – going to new places and exploring with my family is great. My family’s favorite place they have been to is Barcelona, Spain because we went snorkeling with jelly fish, but what was better was coming home. I feel relieved to be home because I have my own bed, my own bedroom, and I get to see my pets and they are happy to see me. I like to go on new planes because I love the feeling of be excited when boarding big planes that I have never been on with my family. I have the same feeling when coming back home. Another part of home is skiing. I like going down new ski runs that I have never been on before. One like the Sunrise which is hard and the Hawk Chair which is easy. There is also the eagle which is kind of hard but easy for my family and me. I feel happy when I fall because it helps me regain balance and it makes me not fall where I fell before. I learn from my mistakes, and I feel better. When going home, I get to take off my ski boots that make my feet feel great after a long day of skiing. Another part of home is playing soccer. I like saving goals in net because it makes me react faster to the ball coming at me. When coming home from a ball to the face, I get to put ice on it, and it feels better. Home is when my coach teaches me how to save shots and kick the ball down field to my teammates, us scoring and knowing that teamwork always works. I love coming back home when I have scored 3 goals in a game. Home is when I go fishing. Catching snappers, salmon, and gropers with my dad and my brother. Lake fishing in Maple Lake and catching trout to eat at home. Those are the things that represent home to me.
