Home to Me

Home is a place where I feel loved. Home is a place where I can hear my siblings playing in the big room, and my mom’s calming voice, as warm as a day in the summertime. Home is my parents cooking dinner in our tiny but pretty kitchen, with all the good spices my mom uses. Home is where I feel my family as I give them loving hugs. Home is where I taste my mom’s really good roast chicken with my favorite seasoning. Lastly, home is where I can be myself and feel safe.
