The Meaning of Home
Home is where I trust.
It's where I go to discuss,
And see the sun lift.
To show the day shift
Home is where I smell bread.
Where love is shared and spread
Crisp fire on the sofa with a snack
But after share and unpack.
Home is where I hear barking from my dogs.
And my mom taking midnight jogs.
Its where I come home from school.
To cool down in the pool.
Home is where I relax and sleep.
Its where I count sheep.
Where hockey is still contained.
But love and warmth remain.
Home is what Habitat for Humanity builds.
It's where people are not wealthy but still fulfilled.
Kids get to go to school and come back to a place.
With four walls and space .
We say thank you to those who help out people to get back in pace.
