‘’What makes a house a home?’’ You might ask yourself. Well first of all ‘’ what is a house?’’ A house is a building on the side of the street you see while you are walking. A House is not necessarily lived in. A house is uncomfortable to be stranded in. ’’And a home? ‘’A home is NOT a house. A home is a space where you feel belonging and safe. A home is a personalised space with your smells, your belongings and your feelings. A home is not always a building, it can be a space where it’s OK to be yourself , express your feelings, eat the food you want to eat and do the things you want to do. You can make a house a home by just living there. The place you live might not be your house nor any house but it is your home.
