If Home Were the Five Senses

Sight: I see my family sitting on the couch ready to spend time with me. I see snacks on the table ready to be enjoyed. I see my dad ready to hug me. I see my mom ready to Brighten my day. I see my home. Smell: I smell my moms home cooked meal ready to be eaten. I smell my favourite desert being put on the table by my dad. I smell home. Taste: I taste the lovely meal my mom made for supper. I taste the delicious cake my grandmother made. I taste the lovely food in my home. Sound: I hear my mom saying good morning. I hear my dad pouring my cereal into the bowl so I have something for breakfast. I hear my cat Abby meowing for me to feed her. I hear home. Touch: I feel the warm blanket around me when I come inside after school. I feel my mom and dad hug me after a long day. I feel home.
