The Meaning of Home to Me

To me, home is like a warm hug. Home smiles when I come home from the ice cold rink. Home welcomes all the warm comforting memories. I remember waking up and rushing downstairs to see the wonderful glistening fluffy white snow snow. Then to snuggle on my couch under a warm cozy blanket watching the fire glow! My home holds the wonderful smell of my grandparent's famous chicken curry. The curry makes me smile just as bright as the sun shining down on my home's front door. Home is the place which I know will always be there for me through the ups and downs, and to welcome me onto my bed as soft as a cloud. I hear laughing all throughout the house which gives me a smile all the way up to the moon. Home takes in all the wild things that happen in my family. But it is mostly the fights that me and my brother have. Home is as brave as a soldier. Home is as strong as a wrestler. Fighting against lightning as it strikes through the air down to the ground as fast as light. Home means so much it is the base of my life. I love home as much as a mother bear protecting her cub. Home is where I feel safe and I’ll never want to leave! That is the meaning of home to me.
