Did you know that about one thousand people are homeless in Nova Scotia. That is a lot of people that don’t have a home! These are the most important things in my home. Whenever I am not feeling the best my pets comfort me, they are very comforting. Another thing is if I need something to do I know I can play with my pets for a while because they usually won’t get bored as easily as my sister. Whenever I'm home alone I feel very safe because I know that my dog Mustard will keep me safe. She's like a Guard dog because she will bark and scare them away, But if you know my dog, she's very sweet. Having pets is great to get active because you walk the dog and have to get the pets energy out before me and my family go to bed. That's why I would want pets in my life. Next is my family. My family always makes me feel loved and happy. They do this by hugging me and making me feel good about myself by saying nice things and including me in the conversations they have. Also, lots more. I also love playing with my sister, especially on roblox. It is always so fun and crazy when we do stuff together. Whenever I need to talk I know I can always talk to my family. Also, When I try new things they always support me in my decisions and help me out. That's why I need my family in my life. Another thing is memories! I love looking back and remembering what it was like then. When I look at a room in my home I remember what memories happened there and it makes my home feel like mine and my family's home. I can remember my family members and it makes me think about them and that makes me happy. When I remember memories it's a great way to start a conversation with someone because if they were in the memory you have you have something to relate to. So those are the most important things in my home. They are the reason I want to go home some days. I grew up in my home and these things are the reasons I call my house a home!
