The Meaning of Home to Me

The meaning of home is something that should feel safe, and warm, the place that’s filled with love and family of all kinds home is where you can cuddle up by the fireplace with your family and pets and roast marshmallows and make smores. Home is the place where you should feel heard, loved and appreciated, home is one of the best things on earth, home is where you know that when you come home from a hard day someone will be there to give you a hug and talk about it with you. Home is the place where you are loved and cared about the most home. Is also where sibling fun happens and tug a war begins and where you can play in the snow with your family. home is the place where you play with pets and family, were puzzles and board games scattered the floor puzzle, after puzzle, board game, after, board game, while we sit by the fire with smiles scattered across faces happy pets sit and wait for dinner and treats and you and your family sit there and eat the delicious food that was prepared. Home is where everyone sits at the table smiles spread everywhere across the table where stories are told laughter and grins so wide home is the best place to be. Home is where love is shown, and grins and smiles are all in a happy home although this isn’t everybody’s home its what home should be for everyone, everyone deserves a home. By Emma Atkins
