What Makes A Great Home

Home can be a house, a street, an ocean, or a tree, but home can be many other things too. Home can be your family. Me and my younger brother happily chase each other around the house as the sun goes down, while our parents watch their favourite show. When my brother and I wake up in the morning, we each watch youtube together before going to school. Home can also be a location. When the family goes outside, we have fun playing in the snow. We laugh and laugh as my brother tries to suffocate me in the snow. My backyard is a safe place to me that feels like home. Having pets can also make a great home. Me and my cat named Coin cuddle up at night like a bear with its cub. When I wake up, Jack and Cruz meow for food. While we’re at school, Coin and Cruz happily chase each other around the house, like me and my brother do. Good Protection makes a great home. When there’s a large rain storm, or a big snow blizzard, we play games on our mobile devices while the roof and the walls protect us. Home can be memories. One day, my whole family watched a movie at night and it was one of the best days ever. We also went on a 5 hour road trip one day. My favourite part of the trip was coming home. And these aren’t the only things a home can be. Home can be a lake, a building, a field, or a forest, but it can be hundreds of other things too.
