Meaning of Home

At home, I feel safe and loved by my parents. I feel like I belong in a place where I have been for years. When I start my day, I eat a plate of fried rice and sometimes I even drink milk. Afterwards, my siblings and I get everything ready for school and head out for our day. When we come back home, we eat lunch and do our homework. Then, we played for a while. After that, we eat our dinner and head to sleep. Inside my home in Sri Lanka, I had an important bedroom. There, I had to share this space with my siblings. It was a really tight space because this room was little, but not too small. Both my siblings sleep with me in the same bed, which was tight. We also do our homework which was fun until now because we normally have so much fun when we do it. In our home, there is this special clay chair that you can actually sit on. I like to sit on it a lot, it's one of my favorite chairs! Both my siblings and I made it! It took us about a whole day just to start and for us to finish making it. We took lots of dirt and water, then we mixed it all together. After we molded the shape and filled it up. Then we were finished! We got so dirty that we took a while to bathe. It was fun, but now we miss it a lot and we hope the other people take very good care of it. Sincerely, Dulnara .S
