Home is where love is found. Home is where the heart is found. Home is where you can go to feel peaceful and safe. You can share your home like you can share other things that are important to you. There are different ways to say my home is your home. Ma maison est ta maison. Mi casa es tu casa. My house is like my petal on a blossoming tree. A forest is a country, a tree is a town, and one petal is your house. I can share my great experiences. If life can be wherever I want it to be, it would be at the barn for me. Horses are my life. For most people mucking out stalls and putting their fingers in a horse’s mouth is torture. The feeling of a home is hard to describe, but it is not the feeling of a house, it’s the memories like making dinners and popcorn every Friday night and watching an old movie with my family. Home can be a sense. Home can be a feeling. Home can be anything you want. But to me it means laughter and kind words. My home is my sweet haven. It is where I can be myself and nobody can control me, except for my anxiety when I forget what really matters, and that is my family. My house is like my home base. A home can be as close to your heart or as far away as Timbuktu. I hope you have a home you can go to and feel joyful and cheerful, and I hope that everybody at the end of the day can go to a home that they love. That is what home means to me.
