Home Sweet Home
When I get home I can smell the smell of sweet peppermint tea still boiling in the kitchen. I also get a warm greeting from my family members and my beloved dog Toby. When I make mistakes I always have someone to talk to about my troubles instead of bottling it all up inside and causing it to get bigger. My family helps me understand that when mistakes happen and they do, you should strive to do better the next time it happens.
My home keeps me safe and my family keeps me confident, safe, and lets me be myself. My family doesn’t bring me down, they only bring me up and keep me stronger. Home is where I can trust people to keep my secrets and not spill it out to strangers who I do not know as well. Home is where people appreciate me and care and love me as I am. You don’t have to pretend to be someone you're not, you could just be yourself and not change a thing about you, because everyone is equally special in every single way.
Home is more important than just thinking it’s just four single walls, it’s where everybody you love lives and it’s also where people who care about you live too. Home is where you get treated with respect and kindness and also care. When you’re at home, you feel like you have more freedom than anywhere else in the world. Home is where you have a roof over your head, and a family to love.
My family believes in me when I make mistakes they teach me how to do better the next time I lose my cool. My family teaches me leadership, responsibility, and how to create relationships. My house and family are awesome and I don’t want to change a thing about them.
