The Meaning of Home

When l think about home, l think about my family. My family is home to me because they are welcoming and thoughtful. When you think about home, you might think about parties like Christmas, birthdays and more. Home also means more than just family - it could be the community you live in. Home could be about memories or traditions that you had there. My family has a New Years tradition where we play a board game together. The board game we play is called Ludo. We connect over the game by being competitive. Even though the games at home can get competitive, we still care about each other. Home could also mean your favorite places to go. My favorite place to go is the field where I played soccer on a team. It is my favorite place to go because we did fun drills and I can meet new people. The sport is not only a game, but a fun way to bring people together from all over my community.
