Home is Home

Many smiles await there, and happiness is around every corner. Everyone likes to work in the kitchen, or likes to help out. And delicious food is made there, like yummy banana bread and tasty chicken. Now, we eat dinner together talking and laughing. Inside my home, I am nice and cozy, snuggled up with my blankets and my family. Nothing is ever too clean for long because me and my sister play together and we are too busy having fun to clean. Great clothes made by my mom keep me warm or cool depending on the weather. Along with some from the store. On hot summer days, we sit on the porch in the backyard and play in the sprinkler. For dinner we eat outside if it’s warm enough. Helpful siblings and parents help me and I help them. Only sometimes we fight, but we make up for it in the end. Me and my family live there together, and everyone is welcome. Even if it doesn’t seem that way, home is home every day. Home is still home no matter what it looks like, feels like, or sounds like. Because it is home.
