Home is Where the Heart is

To me home is not where you are, have been, or will be. It is where the people you love are, where your heart truly belongs. Home is where my family is, but to me home is not home without my friends. They make me feel happy, They make me feel warm. My family, my friends, my hopes, my dreams are all part of my home. When you remove one, it all comes crashing down. Home is where I feel safe, and warm. I’m surrounded by my loved ones. Home is not one place, but anywhere my family, and friends are. An empty house is not a home, Though an empty home is still a house. Sad as it may be, not everyone has a home. Habitat for Humanity is working to give houses to families in need, They give them the chance to make a house their home. As anyone who has moved will know, A new house is not already a home. It is your job to make it a home, Your home With all this said, you will always have bad and good days, But your friends and family are your home, Remember you can always return home.
