Meaning of Home

At first the meaning of home was hard to understand. After I really thought about it I realized that a house can be a home but also may not be. For me my house is my home. Let me tell you why. One of the things that makes my house my home is the people who live in it. My family who I have created a ton of amazing memories with. A lot of those memories end with a smile and that is why I love them. Another thing that makes my house my home is how it is safe. Not only is it safe physically but it is safe mentally. I can express my feelings and my family will totally understand. In the end this writing prompt has really helped me understand the meaning of home a bit better.
