What Home Means to Me

Home is not a place, it’s wherever love and joy are. Home is the spaces where you share happiness and get together with all your friends and family. At home, you never feel under the weather. Some people are hit with hard times, they may feel sad and even live on the street. Not even a penny or anything to eat. We can help them by spreading happiness all around like a boomerang through town. It can start with you and sometimes it takes two. Home can be your happy place. Where you feel good, calm, peaceful, and joyful. Home is here and there even everywhere. Wars that were going on are fighting for a home. They both want peace, happiness, joy, kindness, and helpfulness. Some families don’t have houses to love and share. Some people win, some people lose. I don’t care for prizes. I want motivation from places to places. People need help, each other, and nature too. We need help. We fit together like puzzle pieces. My favourite quote from Martin Luther King Jr. is "faith is taking the first step even when you can't see the whole staircase." That stands out to me because even though we can't see the staircase we still need to try. Never give up, we usually don’t pay attention to that it. It means have hope, stay strong, and try your best. We need to stand up for ourselves and for others. Standing up is strong and bold words, words that can change a lot and homes can to. Look at things as a glass half full not half empty.
