Meaning of Home

Have you ever really felt at home someplace somewhere cozy, warm, and safe? Well, some people have not even had the chance to experience that because they are homeless, Homelessness is a massive problem today all around the world it's because of many reasons, for example unaffordable houses, substance abuse and bets. I am here today to tell you 3 things that make a house a home to me. Firstly, don't you just love snuggling up on the couch with a warm cup of hot chocolate watching the snow fall outside? Well, that's the reason that I think shelter because how else would you stay warm on those cold wintry nights. Boy, are you lucky that you don't have to stay outside. But unfortunately, over 200,000 homeless people have to stay outside in the freezing cold on any given night, as sad as it is its true. Secondly, I think safety is an important piece of a home because it's always important to feel safe. Something that can make a place feel safe is the people inside or the things inside that make you feel comfortable/safe. Lastly, the thing that makes me feel most at home are the memories. Like the time you were sad, and your mom comforted you or the time you had all that fun with a friend! Memories are good to comfort you when no one is around or when you're bored, and you look around and you're like “remember the time that we broke that window having a pillow fight!?” In conclusion I told you three things that mean home to me, I hope that I helped you realize how blessed you are to have four walls a roof, memories, and safety. I hope you enjoyed reading what I think is home.
