The meaning of home

You can go anywhere you want, but you will always return to home. First of all, home is your shelter. It is where you go after school or vacation, where you go when it’s cold or when it’s raining, where you go simply to rest. It is where you are safe from the forces of nature, where you are safe with all that you ever need to have a good life, and it is your only shelter that you are truly a part of. Second, home is where the heart is. It is where friends and family are, where we are all at home. Home is where you are free to be yourself, where you feel a sense of belonging, etc. Home is where you lived and grew up in, so we always feel connected with home wherever we go. Third, home is [or should be] comfortable. It’s a wonderful place to be in, with family and friends, sitting on the couch and watching a movie. Many people don’t have a decent home to live in due to poverty and other factors, so be glad that your home is sheltered, warm and cozy. Wherever you go, wherever you live, home is a part of your life.
