Home and House

What a house means to me: A house is made of materials that make a shelter to keep us warm and cozy. A house is a place where you can cook in the kitchen and relax on the furniture. Since 1985, 4 309 families and more have a loving home thanks to Habitat for Humanity. It is sad to think about how the homeless feel. I think they must be sad, angry, frustrated, and mad. Once there was a day where my mom and my sister and I were at a drive-thru and this homeless guy was asking people for some food, not even money - just some food for the day. When he was asking people, they kept on ignoring the guy, and I saw him, and it was hard to watch. So, I asked my mom if we could get the guy some food. She said of course we can, and I was so happy because he looked like he didn't have a meal in a f What ew days. So, I was excited to give the homeless guy some food. When I gave the food to him, I also gave him an ice cream. The smile on his face made my day and we probably made his day too. What a home means to me: A home is somewhere you can feel safe in because your family is there. A home is a place for your family to laugh, cry, make jokes, and other emotions. Remember, it does not matter how big or small your home or house is, it is about being with your family. Your family is your home. Thank you to Habitat for Humanity Canada for giving people a lovely home.
