What Home Means to Me
Home means a safe place with a roof above, filled with memories, laughter and love.
When someone’s down you find a spark, remember the memories that have left a mark.
Home is not just where sadness lays, when the stormy nights pass, into bright sunny days.
While we eat dinner and talk about the day, all of the things we might forget to say.
A house is made up of walls, ceilings and doors. A home is where you feel safe, you belong and that’s yours.
When you say goodnight and close your eyes and wait till the morning for clear skies.
It’s the memories of every vacation as you grow, those memories fade, but little did you know.
That the things that stay and all that you’ve known, are all part of your meaning of home.
Thank you Habitat for Humanity for giving people who are less fortunate the amazing opportunity to call a house a home every single day.
