Home is Safety

Home is cozy Home is hushed Home is not a place to be rough Home is sheltered Home is safe Home has a meaning of grace When I go to bed In my head I think of the things that I have said Home is the place where feel safe After the day has run me over I get stitched up With my mom by my side It pulls, it aches but then it escapes It's over, I'm safe once again I lie back on my couch Warm, cozy and hushed I am safe for now and that's all I want
