Meaning Of Home
Home isn’t just a normal house with 4 walls and a roof. Home is the place where I spent my childhood. Where I spent time dancing in the living room to 21 Pilots at 2 years old, where I would put on fashion shows for my mom, and where I lived for 10 years of my life. Home is a place where I feel comfortable and warm, and where I can be myself without being judged. One of my favourite things about my home is my pets. They can cheer me up in any condition or any state of mind. From the warm cuddles of my cat to the loud barks from my dogs, I feel special to have them to cheer me up any day, any time. I feel warm as I’m lying in my bed with my comfortable, soft bed sheets that are white as snow, and that are as soft as a kitten. As I lay in bed, I smell freshly baked popcorn from the microwave, and my baby sister babbling in the corner to let her try some delicious popcorn. I smell and taste yummy steaming hot chocolate while watching a movie with my two sisters Mya, and Ivy. We lay in my bed till 3:00 in the morning watching movies, gossiping about everything, and sharing every little detail. I spend every day at home and enjoy every little second and savour every little memory.
Thank you, Habitat for Humanity for building homes for families in need and helping them out with a roof over their head. I bet they appreciate it so much! You’re changing people’s lives by providing them with a roof and walls that they did not have before.
