Meaning of Home

Home can be a whole bunch of different things, but I chose to talk about how I go back and forth between my Moms and my Dads with my twin sister. At my Moms, I live with my Mom, my Step Dad, my twin sister, and my two cats. At my Dads, I live with my Dad, my Step Mom, my two older sisters, my twin sister, my little brother, our nine chickens, our dog, and our bunny. I do like going back and forth but it is A LOT of driving. See, my Dad lives 45 mins away from my moms house, and I live with my mom for two weeks and then go to my dads for a weekend then back to my moms house for another two weeks. I know what you’re thinking, that’s not fair. But because my dad lives so far away from my mom he also lives 45 mins away from my school. So unless we get a day off school we only can stay with our dad for the weekend, but in the summer we can stay as long as we want. Sometimes, it gets really hard because my siblings at my dads always want me to stay with them longer but I like it at my moms house more than my dads. When I'm at my dads sometimes I miss my mom because I've never been away from my mom for more than six days. When I'm with my mom I feel more comfortable. My mom makes me really happy because I know no matter what she loves me and always will. I think that home could really be anything if you think about it, maybe a blanket or a person or even a pet. !THE END! ~Nadia
