Meaning of Home

The meaning of home for me is, the minute I walk through the door my dog comes up to me and his whole body wiggles with excitement! He tries to grab something off the table to show me what he grabbed. Which always makes me filled with joy, even if I had a really bad day. After I play with him I go into my mum and dads room and I talk to my dad about my day. Afterwards, I go into my sister's room and I ask her about her day. She always tells me these wild stories about her day that makes me laugh more as well. I have lived in my house my whole life, so all of my memories are in the house. Where I took my first step and when we came home with my dog for the first time. Where I learned I was getting a dog for the first time, where Iearned my sister was getting her surgery, where I first got my pet bird. Those memories are all in my house, not all were happy but not all were sad either. But no other house could have those same memories! In conclusion that is why all these things make my house a home! ~ Maggie
