There is No Place Like Home

Home is my family. Home is my friends. Home is Ukraine. I was born in Ukraine. Ukraine is the best place. Ukraine is home. In Ukraine everyone calls Ukraine “mother” because that is what it feels like. Then because of the war. Home is Poland. We felt scared. We felt lost. But we had each other. Home is my family. Then we left again. To stay safe. Home is Canada. Canada feels safe. Some people are friendly. My bedroom is comfortable, and it has my special things. I can keep the things that are important to me. The things that remind me of Україна (Ukraine).
