Home, An Awesome Place Home is something everyone deserves. It’s the place where I can hear the singing of my siblings. It’s the place where I can smell my favorite food my grandma is cooking. It’s the place where I’m in the living room and feel the sunshine blaze in the room. It’s the place where I can smell the salty stench of seawater seeping into the room. Home is where I feel loved, accepted and cared for. Home is where I have most of my memories good and bad. Home is in Greece where I grew up and where I lived for more than half of my life. Home is where I have my family and where I enjoy every single day with them. Home is my safe place. Home is where I can see the beautiful pink, blue, purple and gold sunsets and sunrises. Home is where I have the most gorgeous view of the beach and ancient ruins. Home is where I gather with my family every Christmas and watch movies. Home is where I sit on my bed, reading a book, a warm feeling washing over me. Everyone deserves a place they can sleep in and feel safe. Habitat for Humanity’s mission is to provide all those in need of affordable housing and a safe place to call home but most of all start building beautiful memories as a family. Even the slightest help can change someone’s life. That someone can be you, by just deciding to take part in this amazing cause.
