The Meaning of Home

The Meaning Of Home By Amelia Home. Home is a place where I can be myself. Whether it's playing drums, singing, or having a playdate with my BFF. Either way I always have a fun time. When I think of home I think of buttery popcorn on a movie night or snuggling up on the coach. My Community. I have 2 communities because I have two homes. One of my communities is Hillside. It’s very busy when I walk to School. My best friend Neyati lives right across from my apartment and my other best friend Slone lives in my apartment. My second community is View Royal. I live there half the time and with my dad. My Province. I live in beautiful British Columbia. And I'm very lucky to. It’s called “beautiful” for a reason. The scenery here is spectacular! We have mountains that reach to the sky, and oceans full of unimaginable beauty! I couldn't imagine living somewhere else. But I would not mind it if I went on vacation to Disneyland. My Country. The country that I live in is called Canada. Here's a fun fact about Canada. When white people came to invade some land they ran into some Native Americans. They didn't know wHat to do so they kept saying “Canada”. Which in their language meant “our land”. But the white people didn't know what it meant so they just said “ok I guess this place is called Canada.
